I have learned so much about the work that goes into the process of raising and producing fiber for yarn which, as an end user, and a retailer of the end product helps me a ton in being able to explain the value to customers.

Who would have thought that a podcast about wool would be so fascinating? As a long time artist, who has newly acquired interest in creating with fiber, I was thrilled to discover both the Abundant Earth fiber lab right here in my own community, but also their podcast.
Lydia's discussions about color are quite relevant to my work as a painter, and as a newly converted needle felter, her podcasts about fiber are enlightening, to say the least. She has a very engaging speaking style and the podcasts fly by as I listen.
