The Field Guide to Fleece: 100 Sheep Breeds & How to Use Their Fibers is a compact reference by Deborah Robson & Carol Ekarius, the well regarded authors of the Fleece & Fiber Sourcebook. Discover the range of diversity in attributes and uses across 100 breeds of sheep. This little gem fits conveniently in your knitting or project bag so it’s always handy when you encounter new breeds in your fiber travels.
Each breed profile includes a photograph of the animal and information about its origin and conservation status, as well as the weight, staple length, fiber diameter, and natural colors of its fleece.
I love it! Wonderful colorful pictures and most helpful information. Recommend it to any one who loves wool.
Thank you,
Elle
This 100 sheep breeds resource book is the size of a small paperback, but chock full of information on fiber and their uses for each breed. I have wanted a copy for awhile. I use it frequently. A plus plus plus.
