Not too long ago, Emily of Local Color Fiber Studio came to the mill with buckets of botanicals grown for dyeing. We handed her some bags of clean Rambouillet, and she quickly got to work making magical colors from indigo, marigold, madder, coreopsis, and others. We then got busy carding, blending, and spinning these DK weight speckled skeins. Because the fiber was dyed in the wool (before processing), you may notice it has an incredibly soft hand and long lasting color. We hope you'll enjoy knitting with these skeins at least as much as we've enjoyed making them.
Also new with this batch is the latest sweater design by Sarah Pope. Lilt is a boxy, cropped pullover crowned with a striking lace yoke. Get the pattern now from WhistlingGirlKnits on Ravelry.
