Practice new skills while meeting up with spinners of all ages and abilities in our weekly handspinning class. This class begins with a new demonstration each week followed by ample time to practice, ask questions, and observe handspinning techniques.
Demonstrations cover the range of skills needed to progress from non-spinner to intentional fiber artist including fluent spinning and plying as well as sampling a range of natural fibers, spinning for gauge, playing with color and texture, basic roving prep, and more.
All fiber, materials and equipment are provided. You can also bring your own wheel and fiber or purchase from our shop if you wish.

A $20 Day Pass or a $115 Annual Membership may be purchased on the day of class.
The Fiber Arts Lab is a generous workspace stocked with equipment, tools, and materials for spinning, stitching, weaving, dyeing, felting, and fiber processing with an emphasis on wool. With a Day Pass or Annual Membership you can take our classes and workshops or reserve a loom, wheel or sewing machine for your own projects.
