Hop on the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry for a short 15 minute ride to Whidbey Island. Our shop & mill is a short distance from the ferry terminal and the ambitious among you could make the short ½ mile walk up the hill in under 15 minutes.
While here you can browse our shop of beautiful yarns and rovings as well as other limited edition items you won’t find online, or step through the shop and into the mill to see how everything is made.
NOTE: The mill will be closed on Friday May 10, 2019 as we will be traveling for a guild presentation that day.
Unique workshops and apprenticeships related to skirting, scouring, carding, and spinning, both by hand and machine, are currently in development here at the mill. We need your feedback to help keep us moving forward. We invite you to take our very short survey or simply follow our newsletter and #AEFWoolApprentice on Instagram to learn about future opportunities.
While you’re on South Whidbey we’d love to recommend some of our favorite shops, eateries, farms and outdoor destinations to make your stay memorable. If you’re lucky, you might even find some Whidbey Rocks while you’re out and about.
