Strikke

Can any knitter deny the lure of a northern chill? In the heat of summer I often feel my scandinavian roots reaching, aching, as if willing the seasons to change back to comforting cold and wool everyday!

Named for the Danish, Swedish and Norweigian word for knitting, "strikke" (pronounced str-/i/k-eh), this yarn is a harbinger of all the best things yet to come. 

This 3 ply, Fingering weight yarn, was spun with a medley of local fibers, is both soft and versatile. We think you'll love it knit as lightweight fabric such as socks, lace, or perhaps a short-sleeved pullover. This yarn will also be great for both warp and weft, easily your next favorite table runner.
