The soothing, soft hand, clean, round stitch definition, and gently heathered color in this yarn will renew your passion for knitting. Uniquely mesmerizing, however, is its astonishing range. Renew knits as classic DK upward, even on a much larger needle than seems possible, while still producing a cohesive, radiant fabric. Thoughtfully spun in small batches, Renew is all that you love about knitting with fine wool.

Delightful visit and tour on a rainy Whidbey day!

Thanks so much, Alan, for taking the time to share your wisdom and the magic of your mill with my husband and me last week! Delightful to go "behind the scenes" and watch the process of bringing fabulous yarns to life! Can't wait to begin knitting my RENEW sweater--gorgeous yarn and color--and figure out what to create with gorgeous colors of PORTLAND roving.

    I love Renew!

I just purchased Renew for a cardigan. Renew is such a beautiful weathered yarn, soft and a depth of color with depth and character. The yarn is great to work with and washes beautifully, providing a lovely, bouncy stitch and great definition for cables. Every time I purchase yarn from Abundant Earth Fiber Mill, I am delighted. Each sweater I make with yarn from Abundant earth becomes a favorite. Quality is superb and I love supporting local businesses, too. I can’t wait to finish this sweater and plan for my next.

    Pleasing to the senses

I love knitting with Renew, both the fiber and the color palette. The yarn itself is pleasingly round and the stockinette stitch definition is lovely. I can't wait to cast on a cable sweater (after I finish the current cardigan).

    Great yarn

This is first time I have used Renew. I wasn’t sure I would like it at first but I kept working with it through my project. I decided to treat it like handspun, which is what it reminds me of. I love it! Once I soaked and blocked it my project turned out beautiful.

Colors are stunning, nice body and depth of shade

I wish I could buy all the colors, just so hard to decide on which one to choose, when they're all so beautiful! I got 3 to start with. I especially love the deep tones that Lydia is able to achieve with her dying. The heatheriness of the colors is wonderful, that being said, the color saturation is even, no blanc spots in the skein. I was pleasantly surprised that this yarn is a 3-ply, really smooth, soft hand. It could work well in some projects that call for Worsted weight yarns as well, in my opinion. I really look forward to ordering more, as soon as I'm finished with my 3 skeins.

Plump, bouncy, delightful to knit with

I adore this yarn, I made a hat and the stitch definition and plumpness of the ply made for a perfect and delightful project. Highly recommended!

Abundant Earth Fiber always blows me away with their yarn, and this one is no exception. Soft and squishy, but with enough integrity to not lose its shape. Can’t wait to wear the sweater I’ve made with this.

    Soooo squishy!

This is a truly lovely yarn. It's so squishy and soft and has so much bounce. I love working with it. There are little spots of colored wool that pop up that give it more visual interest than just a plain white yarn. I wish I could buy the whole run and just hoard it all for myself!
