Beautiful yarn

Just received the Josef & Anni, Pepper—-it’s gorgeous! Love the little flecks of brown. Not sure if I’ll knit or weave, but this yarn has me thinking up some creative endeavors. Whatever I decide to make, info on the particular sheep breeds and yarn provenance will be part of the piece’s story. So fun!

Seriously the best yarn one could find. My husband is highly sensitive to wool and finds Josef and anni so soft that he asked me for a sweater and cowl in this yarn

Lovely yarn

I’m looking forward to working with this lovely yarn. I’m so glad to find locally made wool from sheep in their area. Non superwash is all I use and am sure this one will knit up beautifully!

Love it!

This yarn is soft against the skin, not itchy, but still has a bit of a rugged outdoorsy look, and substantial feel, that I like. I got the Cinnamon color. Would have picked the Pepper if it was available, but I’m happy with what I got. Made the Josef & Anne Cowl … a fun knit with interesting motifs. Thinking of ordering a sweater quantity of the yarn.

Beautiful Wool

I bought vanilla bean to knit the Josef and Anni cowel. I love the natural color of the wool. It is easy to knit with and the pattern is interesting and challenging in a good way. I would recommend to anyone considering a purchase of this wool. Caren

The natural speckled look of this yarn is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it to anyone to try. As for the touch .... wow! so soft. Love it.

One of the very best yarn companies, IMO

I simply love this company and it’s yarn. The service is impeccable, the opportunities they make to get exactly the right yarn, weight and color is second to none. I bought Josef and Anni in Pepper recently (again) and am sorry I didn’t bite the bullet and buy more. I really hope I will have that chance again because it is the softest, loftiest yarn I own. I realized the quantity is very generous for the price, especially when they run a sale. I am looking forward to a cardigan of J & A to keep forever. If not, a wrap will be very welcome. I don’t always love alpaca blends but this one is perfect. No pilling or shedding! I should mention the website is especially nicely arranged, and the information I want is easily found, covering my questions perfectly. It is visually clean and the photography is beautiful. I am a fan of this company, so my view is skewed ‘positive’, but nevertheless I am correct in what I have said. I have shopped their booth at Stitches West some time ago, and became better acquainted with their yarns, dyes, and service in person, which I recommend. I will be shopping again to buy their natural yarns and I hope to take advantage of their color connections too when I have a project that calls for it. I have friends that have used their help in this area and I was so impressed by the resulting yarn, I wished for some myself. I buy yarn from all over the world, and have learned how to discriminate quality over time. This company remains on my short list of high quality American yarn companies, to be recommended without hesitation.

Josef & Anni yarn in Pepper is a beautiful yarn too. Love all Abundant Fiber yarns. Never been disappointed! Picture under Aviary is the 2 varieties next to one another after I wound them. This is become a hat also! Picture of hat with other AF yarns.

Anni & Josef my favorite!

Absolutely love both and cinnamon and the pepper Anni & Josef natural yarns! After wet blocking, the resulting fabric is ultra-soft and of a luscious creaminess perfectly spiced by the cinnamon speckles as the pepper ones! I have purchased these yarns twice and would purchase them again and again! As one does with favorites :)
